About the Event
Get ready to make waves with Sailing Adventure: Making Waves Together!
Connection Across the Spectrum is partnering with Community Sailing New Orleans for an adaptive sailing experience designed to make being on the water welcoming, supportive, and accessible for individuals with a wide range of abilities.
Participants will sail alongside trained instructors with support from CATS volunteers and therapists using adaptive sailing vessels suited to different needs and comfort levels. No prior sailing experience is required, and participants do not need to know how to swim.
When not sailing, participants can enjoy community activities and time together at neighboring West End Park.
It’s a day to try something new, build confidence, enjoy the outdoors, and make waves together!
